Hosting Parties

My husband loves to entertain, we have many friends that call after our parties just to tell him what a great success it was. Making sure everyone has a good time can be very tiresome, but to see the smile on your husbands face from all the praise he got is so worth all the effort. I always take notes from my husband before our get together, do not ask to many questions. Sometimes my husband wants to choose the menu and sometimes he wants nothing to do with the planning. I always start by giving him the choice to avoid any misunderstandings. After all this is his time to really shine, and everything must be perfect. The night before the big event I choose to tuck my husband in and get right to work. One night without sleep is well worth still being able to complete all my regular chores the next day. Prepare all your husbands favorites and if you are feeling a little wild you can even try a new recipe. Trying new recipe's at parties is just fine, this helps to build your husbands menu for other nights. If you are really lucky he may have a new favorite. Always look your best at your husbands get together, smile allot and show everyone just how happy you are. Never interrupt your husband when he is speaking and always agree with everything he has to say. Serve the guests, but your number 1 priority to to serve your husband. Watch his cues carefully, try to stay one step ahead when he needs another drink. Never complain if your husband takes all the credit for the party, this is his party and he deserves all the compliments he can get. Remember tomorrow will be another hard work day for your husband, so tonight is all his. If there are single ladies at the party I always try and turn in early and leave the cleaning for the next day. This gives my husband his time, Men are different than woman and he may want to get extra compliments from the ladies to boost his ego. Never spy and never complain if you see him with another woman. This was his party and he can do whatever he needs to. Some great tips on being a good wife.
